BANQUET& AWARDS: There will be the Famous Saturday Night Banquet in Lone Pine. Each entrant will receive a door prize ticket at registration. As usual, we expect to have a plethora of fabulous door prizes. The feed will occur prior to the trophy presentations and door prize giveaway. Tickets for the dinner will be available at registration and at the banquet. Trophies for Saturday will be awarded at the banquet; trophies for Sunday will be awarded at the course after each run group. Plaques will be sent with the results. It is requested that all entrants bring a door prize valued at $5.50 or more. Something small if you’re broke, something big if you can hit up an employer or sponsor.
WORK/RUN GROUPS: All participants will be required to work about two hours each day on course, timing, or scoring. Individuals not working their assigned work group will not be allowed to run, or if they have already run, will have the dreaded "DNW" next to their name on the results, will not have their times listed, be eligible for a trophy, nor be allowed to register the next year. In other words, your participation is needed to assure a good, smooth running event.
Work/run group assignments will be confirmed at registration. Classes are per 2007 SCCA Solo rules and CSCC Supp Regs (includes Cal Street Mod, Stock Tire and Sport Truck, but not Novice). Indicate what class you normally run on the entry form. We will find a class for you, never fear! Run groups and order will be determined the week prior to the event. Classes will likely be combined and indexed into Stock, Street Prepared, Street Touring, Stock Tire and Prepared/Mod. Individual classes with significant entrants will be scored separately for trophies.
LODGING: There are many hotels in Lone Pine. Reserve early. There are also campgrounds in the area and overnight camping is permitted at the site, but no hookups or facilities are available except porta-johns. Note that weather can vary widely so be prepared for extremes from hot to cold!
Course walk until 8:30 each day. Parade laps until 8:50, first car out 9:00. Early/late runs by prior arrangement.
