Day 1: 10/25 - Los Angeles/Beijing
Check in at Los Angeles International Airport for an afternoon flight MU586 by 11:20am to Shanghai. Your adventure begins as you fly trans-Pacific aboard a wide cabin jetliner. Cross the International Dateline.
Day 2: 10/26 - Beijing
(Crown Pica Sun Palace/5 Star, 12 Qisheng Middle Road North East 3rd Ring Road, Tel: 0086-10-64298888). Arrive in Shanghai at 5:35pm, then switch to flight to Beijing MU5I86 9:50pm/00:20am. Arrive in Beijing, the Capital of China. You will be met by your local tour guide at the airport. Transfer to the hotel.
Day 3: 10/27 - Beijing
In the morning visit the Temple of Heaven, built in 1420 A.D., where the emperors prayed to the heavens for a good harvest. Visit the 2008 Beijing Olympic venues for the outside views of National Stadium the Bird's Nest and the National Aquatic Center. Continue the tour to the Great WalL En route visit the Jade Factory. The Great Wall, the 4,000 mile long and 2,000 year old construction is said to be the only man¬made structure visible by naked eye from the moon. Visit one of the Ming tombs, one of 14 Ming Emperors' Tombs is fully excavated and open for exploration. Peking Roast Duck dinner is arranged.
Day 4: 10/28 - Beijing
Sightseeing includes visiting the Tian An Men Square, the largest square in the world. The Palace Museum, also known as the Forbidden City, home of 24 emperors with a total space of 9,999 rooms. Visit the Pearl Market, the Summer Palace, Kunming Lake, Longevity Hill, Seventeen-Arch Bridge and Marble Boat.

Day 5: 10/29 - Beijing/Xi'an
(Golden Flower Hotel / 5 Star, No. 8 Changle Road West, Tel: 0086-29-83232981). Morning flight to Xi'an MU2111 8:40am/10:40am. Sightseeing to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. Visit the Chinese Lacquer Ware Workshop. Evening entertainment of Tang Style Dancing.
Day 6: 10/30 - Xi'an
Morning bus excurses to the Terra Cotta Warriors at the Tomb of the First Emperor of Qin Dynasty. Enroure visit the Xi'an Art Ceramic & Terra Cotta Factory. On the way back, visit the Ancient City Wall and Banpo Museum, a preserved pre-historical cavemen site.
Day 7: 10/ 3 I - Xi'an/Shanghai
(Renaissance Shanghai Putuo Hotel/5 Star, No. 50 Tongchuan Road, Putuo District, Tel: 0086-21-22195888). Flight to Shanghai MU2I55 10:00am/12:00pm, followed by sightseeing. Visit the Shanghai Silk Factory.

Day 8: I I/I - Shanghai
Sightseeing includes the Yu Garden, a maze of marvelous pavilions, ponds, rocky works and over arching trees. Visit the Shanghai Silk Rug Factory and the Bund, a famous waterfront park Business visit to the Pudong economic development zone.

Day 9: 11/2 - Shanghai/Los Angeles
You may spend your final hours in China on your own in the morning. Afternoon flight MU5 83 will depart by 1:50pm for Los Angeles where you will arrive at 10:20am on the same day.
Important Trip Information
Securing or updating a passport is your responsibility. Passports must be valid through September 2012. All travelers must have a valid Chinese Visa. Citsline will handle visa applications at a cost of $155 per person (no later than 9/1/11) Invaluable pre-tour briefings for all participants will be held in October to answer all of your questions and familiarize you with the details of the trip.
